Welcome back
Breathe. Stay.
You are the landscape. The craving is the wind.
The work
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ
"Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient."
Al-Baqarah, 153
A companion for the work of becoming free.

Sensory Override Protocol
A signal is passing through. We are going to move through four steps, in order. The body first, the mind second.
Step 1 — The Breath
Tap to begin. Breathe through the nose in, out through the mouth slowly.
Step 2 — The Visual Lock
Fix your eyes on the dot. Don't look away. The brain cannot sustain two focal points — give it this one.
Step 3 — The Reality Touch
If you can, go to a sink now. Thirty seconds of cold water on the wrists or face. If not — flat hand on the nearest wall. Feel the temperature, the texture, the resistance.
"This wall is real. My hand is real. The craving is a signal, not a truth."
Step 4 — Life Without It
Close your eyes. See yourself — specific and real.
The Scale of Truth
This is the real trade. Hours of resolve, days of progress, years of accumulated health — for thirty seconds of artificial relief.
Harm Visualization
Most cravings peak and fall within 10–20 minutes. You stayed. Log it.
Post-Lapse Autopsy
Within 15 minutes of use, complete this. This is how the brain learns.
Today ·
Three tiers. Build from the bottom.
Minimal willpower. Daily.
Real effort. Real reward.
One per day. The one you don't want to do.
New every day. No scripts. Specific.
The future self, in sensory detail.
Breathing softly · 2:00
Imagine six months from now. The day is ordinary, and that is its beauty…
When it is, you'll be able to talk through cravings, doubts, and moments of weakness. Private. Non-judgmental. Grounded in the book.
Questions, stories, feedback — all welcome.

A companion app for Breaking the Chain — A Complete Guide to Freedom from Addiction Through Neuroscience, Islamic Wisdom, and the Science of the Soul.
It does not replace the book. It does not replace a therapist. What it does is put the book's practical tools — the breathing protocol, the visualizations, the daily ladder, the autopsy — inside your pocket, for the exact moments they were written for.
Everything you write here — your plan, your streak, your declarations — lives in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded. Clear your browser data and it's gone. That is intentional.
If you are in acute withdrawal, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or dealing with underlying mental health conditions, please reach out to a qualified medical professional. This app is a companion, not a substitute for care.

Concentration game
The brain cannot hold two focal points at once.
The thought has lost its grip.
Private coaching session
Sessions are conducted live over Skype. The coach will work with you on your specific triggers, your plan, and the moments where the book's tools have not yet become reflex.
This is recovery coaching, not licensed psychotherapy or medical care. It does not replace professional treatment for substance use disorder, mental health conditions, or psychiatric crises.
If you are in acute withdrawal, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or in danger — please contact a qualified medical professional or local emergency services first.
If Skype does not open, you can also reach the coach at @your-skype-id.
